to me, i actually miss the Big Cats for their simplicity...

innovation? well, everything innovates...but it doesn't mean it's simple...

As long as it's free it's fine for me to upgrade.

Split view on my MBP with El Capitan is very useful, but I have yet to see that size customizability of the Spotlight window. It's still the same old Spotlight for me.

Also, I saw that Caffeine can't keep my screen awake now that I'm on El Capitan Beta 2. Had to shift to InsomniaX.

I like the thrust that Apple is doing to secure user's private and personally-identifiable information. Something that users of Android devices may never experience. Thanks for sharing Leo.

You mean the one that a focused group of hackers went for and got images via social engineering? There's no way to stop that.

That is a boring story and media continuously refuses to explain that it isn't about hacking Apple, but about getting the users' credentials. Hacking Apple is a better and more controversial link bait title.

Sad that others still fail to understand what happened.

Given that the public beta is probably around the corner, the PhilMUG Staff would like to remind users early on that the public beta is still covered by confidentiality agreements, as indicated in the Beta Software Program FAQ:

    https://beta.apple.com/sp/betaprogram/faq

    Full details: https://beta.apple.com/sp/betaprogram/legal

I think it's pretty clear there. Unless it's something Apple has already announced, addressed, or confirmed, you can't post and discuss it here.

In other cases, if it's something that's already out there in the web or mass media, you may post it here, provided you include the corresponding links.

I'm posting these guidelines now so that we're all on the same page once the El Capitan Public Beta goes live. The same applies to those in the AppleSeed Developers program.

I checked out the El Capitan public beta website just now and saw this:

Either that's just standard site maintenance or the public beta will be out very soon. :)

For early takers, please let us know how it behaves with Adobe CC. I've read from Adobe Forum that they're having issues with Illustrator 2015 on El Capitan beta 1 & 2.

I'm dying with anticipation but this download will take a while. It's a 6 GB download for my 2012 15" rMBP.

First things I'm gonna check out are:
    - split-screen
    - Notes

... - and if it can handle Blizzard games :)

My biggest concern is that using the new Notes might break the same app on my phone that is still running iOS 8. I don't really feel like installing the iOS 9 public beta on my daily driver just yet.
