Hi! New member here. I'm not sure if this is the right forum for this posting - if it isn't, my apologies and I understand if the moderators relocate it to the appropriate forum. =) Anyway, I have recently upgraded to Leopard (yay!) and subsequently did all the attendant upgrades (iTunes 7, Quicktime, and Toast Titanium etc..) but now optical issues are cropping up. "burner or burner software cannot be found" messages on iTunes and Toaster. Rebooting sometimes solves the problem - but not always - and what a hassle! I've read that downgrading back to iTunes 4.++ solves the issue with iTunes - how about Toast? Does anyone know of a patch, upgrade or a fix to this please? I'm a new Mac user (just a year old) and I have pretty much sworn off of my PC which is now sadly collecting dust - but this, along with the mac's case cracking issues has really knocked the wind out of my sails with regards to my enjoyment. I absolutely LOVE the fact that I used to be able to do all my work on this little machine. Now burning anything reminds me of my life before Mac - my life with Windows. AArgh. Help! =)
Did you have the optical drive issues right after upgrading to Leopard? Which version of Toast are you using?
Actually not right after I upgraded to Leopard - more like after I upgraded to iTunes 7, and Toast Titanium 8
Hmmm, I'm on Leopard 10.5.2 and I'm using Toast 8.0.3 without any problems. You get the error when burning any kind of CD or DVD? You're on a MacBook, right?
