Re: Browser that will work with BPI Express Online? Oh okay, will check with the website I'm ordering from. Thanks for the advice sir rdelrio.
Re: Browser that will work with BPI Express Online? C9: Thanks I never noticed that before. fids: If you have a BPI card you can ask for a BPI e-credit card. Its an extension of your credit card specifically for online purchases. You can set the credit limit and it has a different card number than your regular card. It lets you limit your exposure.
Re: Browser that will work with BPI Express Online? As long as the browser and site support SSL (you'll see that padlock icon in your browser), they're all just as safe.
Re: Browser that will work with BPI Express Online? Alright! The site i'm ordering from has a padlock on the upper right corner.. don't have to wait for the reply anymore. Thanks guys.
Re: Browser that will work with BPI Express Online? How do you do the security number requirement on some sites? I have the e-credit card extension but you need to enter the numbers on the back of the credit card (3 digit security number).
Re: Browser that will work with BPI Express Online? There is a 'card validation code 2' on the front of the card its the equivalent of the 3 digit security code.
Online Banking anyone? Does anyone here do online banking? I've doing online banking for more than a year now and it's frustrating that you can't do online banking using a mac. But recently i emailed bpi to have their webpage support the safari browser and good enough they just taught me how But my other bank Metrobank doesn't support the mac platform :slanted: and i emailed them about it. I felt a bit safer to do online banking with a mac rather than using windows. I would just like to suggest being in a mac community can anyone help me lobby for a mac platform support for other online banking?
Hi gasman, I merged your post with a previous thread discussing the exact same topic. Next time, please try using our Search. Thanks.
I'm still waiting for the activation notice from BPI. The customer support representative told me to wait until tomorrow morning. I never would have done this on a PC. Something about my iBook makes me feel secure.
HSBC just delivered a VASCO Digipass. It's all a part of their new online security. Pretty impressive of them, I must say. The only problem is that we hardly do online transactions with our HSBC account. Everything is done through BPI's check free payment system (which to this day we have to go through the non-IE version of the site). We even use BPI to pay for our HSBC credit card bills. Nonetheless, I'm glad HSBC has taken the initiative.
Has anyone checked out BPI Express Online recently? It seems that it's finally Safari/Firefox compatible... I mean without going though the special Non-IE page. Hooray? I say: FINALLY! Sheesh, took them long enough. I'm still thankful though.
