Hi. Can anyone recommend an OCR (Optical Charater Recognition) software for Mac? I used to use Abbyy finereader in my PC? I've read about Omnipage but I'm getting mixed reviews.

Abbyy Finereader came with the Microtek scanner I bought a few years ago, in fact, it might be cheaper to buy a scanner with the bundled OCR software than buying the boxed version. Abbyy FR Works fine with most documents and magazines. As long as the paper is clean or plain it does fine.
