So i just lost my phone that doesn't have any passcode (i know right). I’m planning to go to NTC to submit the requirements to have my iPhone 11’s IMEI blocked. Does this blocking really work? In theory are savvy technicians in greenhills able to unblock blocked IMEIs?
Assuming you are using an iPhone. Have you try locking it via iClou? An iPhone that was declared lost through iCloud is very difficult to unlock, it pretty much renders the phone a brick. Unless they get to hold your apple id password, they won't be able to use the phone.
Unfortunately not. I was careless like that. lol Do you think NTC would be able to lock it permanently?
I get no passcode but no Face ID on your iPhone 11? I have a friend who does the same but because his mom checks on his iPhone at random.
The only thing that NTC would do is to block the IMEI so the phone wouldn’t get any reception from our local carriers. So in reality you can still use the phone aside from getting regular text messages and calls. And changing the IMEI of the phone is possible if you know how to do it.
Thanks! Thats what i needed to know. Good thing it was new and i was too lazy to sync my icloud account to it. Xmas gift nalang sa nakapulot. Haaay. Haha
