NOW Telecom gets provisional extension to operate as ‘4th telco’ | Inquirer
Had this lined up at 2.43/share when it was trading for 2.39/share.
It closed at the ceiling of 3.58/share.
Could have made 40% and more in the next days...
Chickened out an hour before the opening of the article when the article was withdrawn yesterday.
Imagine if you bought this at 1.00/share last March
Ah, they're on a PR spree again I see.
If there should be a 4th telecom, it should be Converge (who lost out to DITO).
Converge is focus right now on fixed broadband and not mobile network. I would assume they don’t have the necessary equipment and expertise on mobile network deployment. And we really can’t have a 4th telco right now unless NTC gives out enough frequency for other operators. Now Telecom simply doesn’t have enough frequency to compete with the 3. All the talk they are saying about them being the 4th telco are PR talk right now, which I assume is to help increase their stock prices and/or help them with their upcoming plan to publicly list NOW Telecom on PSE.
it's all about stock market "play"...
Sayang... 177% increase if I bought at 2.43 and sold at 4.30
If I bought & sold 1,000,000 shares I'd make 1,870,000.
coulda woulda shoulda...
