Now available at Data Blitz (19 Apr). Saw it on their FB page.

    Variety Kit = 5,995
    Robot Kit = 6,495
    Customization Set = 895

I'll have to pass on this though. Still can't wrap my head around the price for pieces of cardboard

I looked at nintendo’s Labo page. The premium value goes to its ‘Toy Garage’ where you can create custom ‘apps’.

Thanks for the update guys will check our local game store here if they have stocks.

Tried out Mario Tennis Aces last night and this morning, and I love it.

I loved Mario Tennis for the N64 and Mario Power Tennis for the GC, so I was really planning on picking up this game, come June 22. The demo just further solidified my intention to purchase this.

That being said, I found the Star Shot and Power Shot moves to be a bit gimmicky. I prefer a more grounded (well, as grounded as a Mario game can be, anyway) and more technique-based gameplay. But thankfully, there's a standard mode in the full release version of the game, wherein the trick shots can be removed in favor of a purer gameplay.

    Can't wait for June 22!

Hmm. To fans of retro games here in particular those side scrolling action adventure 80s Famicom games. I highly recommend Bloodstained: Curse of the Moon. It’s the spiritual successor to Castlevania.

Was hoping for a new Zelda game announcement (even if the game would probably be 2 or 3 years out), but anyway.

Looking forward to picking up a bunch of Switch games soon:
Mario Tennis Aces on June 22
Toad's Treasure Tracker next month, July 13
Crash Bandicot Nsane Trilogy on June 29.

Beyond that, seems like a long gap until December 7 for SSB: Ultimate.

A bit of a learning curve playing Fortnite on Switch especially dealing with the small buttons of the joycon.

Hopefully Sony will give in to consumers and let Epic accounts linked to the PlayStation be allowed to be linked to the Nintendo Switch.

Am I wrong to wait for a Switch V2 (slimmer etc)? Been holding on towards the temptation.. But with my birthday coming in a couple of months, I’ll probably give in. The announcent of Smash Bros ultimate and Fire Emblem Three Houses sealed the reason for me to have one. ☝

Also, what are the games that can be enjoyed by couples? My girlfriend isn’t much of a gamer, so heavy gameplay titles like Zelda BOTW etc might not appeal to her, haha. Just some games for QT

Check out Snipperclips. That's what we play whenever we have visitors not so much into video games.

You can also try Overcooked... although I am not sure you'll be on good terms with your girlfriend after you play a few games. :)

^^ You can also try Kirby Star Allies. And yes, Overcooked is highly-recommended, although it can be frustrating for co-op play!

Speaking of Overcooked, saw Nintendo's announcement teaser for Overcooked 2

Thanks for the tips guys! Looking through overcooked, it looks fun but it seems more fun when you play it as a big group? I do remember that we played Warioware smooth moves on Wii, that was fun. Seems that Switch doesn't have one yet.

Lastly, if I buy a unit in Japan, it'll play US game naman right?

The Switch isn't region locked meaning you can buy it anywhere any play games from whatever region.

Super Mario Party was just announced and will come out on October 2018.

Good luck trying to get a unit in Japan. I tried to get one last year a month after release, and it was impoossible to find
You had to rely on various lottery-type raffles of different stores. I checked again last month, it was still sold out. But it's cheap, if you are able to get a unit there. Comes out to about 15-16k pesos. But anyway, you can always get one at DataBlitz for 17K cash. :)

If you value your marriage, don't play Overcooked with your spouse. LOL
