Nikon ViewNX won't open

    I have been using ViewNX for the longest time and though loading times for preview of images was slow at times I was very happy with my ver. 1.3. The other day I updated to ver 1.5, and after the update everything was running much faster. Then today it refuses to open and I get a "The application ViewNX quit unexpectedly" even before it opens. The report is as follows:

    I tried all the suggestions I can find on the net to no avail, here is what I have done so far:

    1. repair permission, reset PRAM

    2. delete app through appcleaner, repair permission, re-installed

    3. same as #2 but re-installed ver 1.4

    4. same as #2 but re-installed ver 1.3

    5. delete app through appcleaner, remove all nikon files in /user/library/preferences, repair permission, re-installed ver 1.3

    6. same as #5 but instead of re-installing, used time machine to restore ver 1.3 from before ver 1.5 update

    All of these have failed, I have not installed anything new nor made any update to my computer.

    My mac's specs:

    MBP Santa Rosa 2.4
    4gb ram
    Mac os x 10.5.8
