just downloaded the latest version of ONYX and when i run it, it won't proceed beyond verifying SMART status, i had to do a force quit after 30 mins. what are other alternatives? thanks.
still won't work. i have verified my disc using disk utility but no errors were found. i have also tried cocktail and the cocktail stopped responding. i dunno what's wrong. whether with ONYX or MAINTENANCE, the software freezes while checking SMART status and verifying disk, also freezes if i go directly to the OPTIMIZATION feature. please help.
