Guys whats a good network/bandwidth meter app that sits in your menu bar? Something that measures your current download/upload speed... Thanks.

Fire up Activity Meter. It shows everything you need to know.

Thanks for the suggestion though i need something that sits in the menu bar so I dont have to run Activity Monitor each time I want to check my bandwidth speed.

    Here's what I got

It's from iStat menus (free version). Can't live without it since I had it.
Both upload (top) & download (bottom) bandwidths are displayed on the menu bar, clicking it will show your Local IP add, total download/upload usage since the last boot, and peak bandwidth.

I have these settings, make sure you have these under the Preferences pane
    - Update every 1.0s
    - Mode: Text
    - Format: Kilobytes, Megabytes
    - Interfaces to monitor: Airport (box ticked)

I find the one that comes with iStat Menus is still the best. The latest version (4.10) even breaks down usage by app, so it's easy to see which app is hogging the connection.
