HHH is an amazing show. Great story, great director, great cinematography, great actors.

I had goosebumps while watching episode 6. A few minutes into the episode I noticed that there are no cuts.

    Also, Carla Gugino, OMG!

That's THE Carla Gugino also in Sin City...wow!

Binalik tanaw ko ang isang pelikulang nagtaguyod ng masigabong pangaral mula sa mga kritikong pampelikula at pati na rin ang Hollywood, ito ang Heneral Luna na ngayo'y ipinapalabas sa Netflix...

    glad Netflix scooped this up.

CGI may put off others but I don't mind, it's The Jungle Book!

here's hoping this is darker, more bookish than Disney's take. but at PG-13...

    Outlaw King 8/10

I think I spent more time wikipedia-ing the hell about Robert the Bruce a lot longer than the movie's run time. :p

It's not as exciting as Braveheart, but then I found out that Mel Gibson epic was full of shite. William Wallace :

    1. was actually a rich noble, not a poor farmer
    2. did not wear tartan nor kilts (hindi pa uso nun)
    3. never painted his face blue (warrior smurf looked cool though)
    4. did not fight using double-hand broadswords (they used smaller, single-hand swords)
    5. and worst of all the title "Braveheart" belonged to Robert Bruce, not WW.

Outlaw King was OK (hehe get it?)

Complaint: WTF was with that bathing scene where Chris Pine showed us his er... pine. Feeling niya nasa GoT siya, nag full frontal.

He thought it would look magnificent, but the audience said it was "just pine." :p

I had seen John Leguizamo's brilliant multi-character skits off-Broadway, 15+ years ago. So I was happy to see him on Netflix.

As it turned out, this Netflix show, Latin History for Morons, was different; not as hilarious as his earlier work, but still refreshing. TL;DW: A funny history of America, before Columbus.

Watch if you're curious about how history lessons could've/should've been taught. Leguizamo referenced three major books, and I was surprised that I've read two of them, 1491 and People's History of the United States. So I got more out of the hysterical than the historical. :)

Watch it, and be less of a moron. ;)

Yes. Slow in action but full of information. The film tries to carry all the information in every scene and sometimes you’ll feel that it was rushed.

Watched it last night, and I agree. I found the first half hour ok, but I was expecting the movie to have a lot more punch.
It was ok, but this was no Braveheart

watched it too, was no braveheart but it was okay.

quite impossible actually for them to win the battle... but again movie tends to over do the story...
