I just bought a second hand iMac.
I just want to know how to change the name that shows up when you click "About This Mac" >>>More Info>>> and then right on top, it shows whose computer it is.
    TIA

System Preferences > Accounts > create a new administrator account and delete the old owner's account

Isn't that the computer name in the top right of System Profiler?

I think you can change that via the Sharing tab in System Preferences
