Will be using PS CS2 to print white letters on red paper. I'm worried that the printer will assume I'm using white paper and not print white letters. So what do i need to do to print white letters on red paper?
i'm guessing you mean printer as in desktop printer? ya man.. you can't print white on paper yet. would be cool if there was white ink, though. meron na ba?
i think pwede magprint ng white on colored paper. sa sm north cyberzone nagpprint yung microcadd ng white ink. i'll have to double check though kung tama ang basa ko. sa other printers, i think they can do it too? pero baka rare. if ever naman, kailangan mo lang i-save yung file as black and white, with the white areas as the ones that need to be the red paper, and the black areas as the ones that need to be white. tas pwede mo na i-specify sa printer siguro na white ink sya dapat. magdala ka na lang ng sample print out. and btw, kung may mahanap kang nagpprint with white ink, please announce it here! i'm sure a lot of people would want to know about it. The cheapest way to print white letters/text on white paper is by old fashioned silk screen printing. You can go to Recto to have it done, I'm sure it will be cheap there. Just supply them the letters/text printed on acetate (black ink).
This is not possible whether you are printing via a desktop printer or offset because there is no such thing as white ink. The process you need to do is what you call "reversing". Printing red on white paper and reverse the text that would show as white. I suggest you keep an extra set of ink cause it will surely guzzle a lot it it. Also, depending on the paper you are you using, you might over saturate it if you print solid red and this will distort the paper. ~hacksaw
It's red ink on white paper for you then. Lots of it. Oops... there's the silkscreen option pala. [Edited on 10-10-2005 by peter_ob]
