Championships are forever. Won't love Dwight him less after this decision.

And yes, what a big surprise that Trez signs with the Lakes.

Marc Gasol agrees to sign with the Lakers. Lakers traded JaVale McGee to Cleveland to make room.

Looks like the Lakers are fully loaded for a back-to-back title run.

hoping that the Marc Gasol version that shows up is the same one that helped the Raptors win its first title. Been hearing Raps fans saying he's washed up.. although he still has one of the best net ratings in the entire NBA based on last season's performance. anyway, we'll find out soon enough.

generally though, I like how the lakers reloaded. Schroder, Harrel, Mathews & now Gasol. plus, they were able to re-sign KCP. Would have wanted to keep Dwight but for some freak reason, he still left..

Gasol will be the Lakers' "big" during the regular season, and depending on their match-up during the play-offs.

Just like last year, they may go small if the other team doesn't play with a traditional center.

The 5 spot will probably be shared by Harrel & Gasol. They'll still need a 3rd big unless they occasionally go small with a front line of Kuzma, LBJ & AD.

they were able to re-sign Markief Morris, who played the 4 (with Davis at the 5) for their death lineup during the playoffs. Wondering if Harrel will take his place in the death lineup.

    Bucks are in trouble.

Their overzealousness to re-sign Giannis Antetokounmpo got the better of them when the Bogdan Bogdanovic trade leaked out to the press before the start of the free agency period.

They wanted to show that they're doing something to beef up their lineup and persuade the Greek Freak to stay in Milwaukee, but the trade was axed by the league and now the Bucks are being investigated for Free Agency Tampering again.

Now, the Bucks are in danger of losing the 2-time MVP. The immaturity of the Bucks' GM, and the actual organization, is showing again. I thought it was too premature when they fired Jason Kidd as their head coach. I would've wanted to see what he can do with a more seasoned Giannis.

Will Antetokounmpo accept the supermax contract offer? Or will he play out the season and "take his talents" somewhere else if the Bucks fail to reach the finals again? Or will he stick to his word and be loyal to the Bucks organization?

As for the Milwaukee Bucks... do they trade him now and rebuild? Or will they take the risk of allowing him to walk away, without getting anything in return, as he becomes an unrestricted free agent in 2021.

Let's see who wins the Giannis jackpot.

We're getting mixed reviews on Trezz. On one hand, with him and Dennis, Bron will have at least two teammates off the bench who can create their own shots, for the first time in his career.

On the other hand, would Trezz mess up the spacing during crunch time?

For now, I'll place it in the "good problem" folder.

IMO, it was Doc's biggest flaw last year.

He should have benched Harrell when he was having matchup issues with Denver.
