I find it hard to be a fan of James Harden. I can't stand the way he plays. It's always just him and a bunch of guys standing behind the 3pt line, just dribbling out the clock and either driving, traveling and overselling the contact to draw the foul, or pass to the open man. No midrange, no postup whatsoever. Him MAKING more free throws than the entire Lakers roster and doing that on a regular basis shows what kind of a scorer he is. Heck, he already made MORE free throws than field goals his entire career. He's also terrible and being a liability on defense. He can bask on scoring accolades all he wants, he'll never be a champion with the way he plays.

if the rockets lose the series, might be the last time we see small ball in Houston.

The scores in that series could be reminiscent of the 90s ;)

This is the last year of his contract and they couldn't agree on an extension last year...

    Basically, they "parted ways"

There's a lot of teams looking for a head coach in the East...

I was just looking at the non-Playoff West teams this year... If I'm an NBA player/coach who can move this year, the East is very attractive :)

    Memphis - almost made it
    Phoenix - almost made it
San Antonio - they will always be competitive
New Orleans - full season with Zion
Minnesota - with a happy Towns (thanks to the Russel trade)
Golden State - this team needs to introduction
    Sacramento

    Game 7

It personally feels good seeing that the best players in this series were drafted at 41 (Nikola Jokić) and 15 (Kawhi Leonard)

Denver seems to be getting stronger as this series goes on. Such firepower from the other players behind Murray and the Joker!

I'm rooting for the Nuggets.. & I wouldnt be surprised if the Clippers completely choke on this one..

interesting tidbits: it seems that out of the 12 teams that were able to come back from a 3-1 deficit in the playoffs, this Denver team is one of those, doing so against Utah Jazz in the last series (first round)..

& out of the 12 times that it has happened in the history of the NBA, 2 were done against teams coached by Rivers. his early Magic team & the 2015 Clippers, which lost to the Rockets in the second round. So if he loses tomorrow... 3 times a charm (?).. ha ha..

That BOS-MIA game was one for the books! That's how a finals series ought to start!

Wow Miami... I can't believe I only know 2 guys on that team (Butler and Dragic) - I even misspelled Butler's name typing this post!

Kawhi's decision making: Should I play with Bron and AD, or should I play with PG?

Kawhi fucked up this year. He now must be thinking of all the what-ifs had he stayed in Toronto, who just had as much success this year without him. Clippers as a whole org done fucked up too. They traded away most of their future picks for Pandemic P. They just proved, time and again, to the basketball world that here's only one team in LA - and they're wearing purple and gold.

First step should be firing one of the most overrated coaches of all time...Doc Rivers.

my personal thoughts... Clippers over-achieved last year playing with heart... Add PG and Kawhi to the team and you loose that heart as both players (especially Kawhi) don't play with emotions...

Would have been better to have someone like Westbrook on that team as he will keep the energy up.

The Raptors has that "heart" and all they needed from Kawhi was a go-to guy during the closing minutes.

Kawhi said no to the King. Next season, all teams in the Western Conference, except for Sacramento and Minnesota will be competitive.
