Always go for the underdog. But experience matters in the playoffs, and no team has it than the Warriors. Both the Raptors and Bucks are going to slug it out, but whoever comes out of the East will be mince-meat to the Warriors (assuming they roll past the Dame & CJ Show)
With reports that KD can come back by Game 3, and Cousins is also stated to return if not late in the series, maybe during the Finals, that's a mountain to climb for those in the East.
Not sure if KD & Boogie will come back. Both have muscle strains/tears that can become worse if it's re-injured. Both rely on those muscles to make plays. Whoever defends them will make it physical enough so KD & Boogie are forced to use those muscles extensively. They also have to think of their future. If they're re-injured, it's diminishes their free agent contracts. The Warriors are probably keeping the possibility of return to keep their opponents thinking & preparing for something that won't happen. If the Dubs make the finals, the Bucks would be the bigger challenge. The Bucks have the height, length & youthful energy to make life difficult even for the Splash Bros.
Yikes. So Zion’s going to be a Pelican. 2019 Draft Order: 1. Pelicans 2. Grizzlies 3. Knicks 4. Lakers 5. Cavaliers 6. Suns 7. Bulls 8. Hawks 9. Wizard 10. Hawks (via Mavericks)
Will AD now stay if the Pels get Zion? I don't think they'll gel that quickly and pile up wins that way. AD needs to go and allow Zion to blossom to a real NBA player first. While he may have been a monster during the NCAA rounds, he still fell short of a title because he was too focused on being Zion the Player than Zion the Team Player.
Warriors draw first blood. The Blazers were simply outmatched in the backcourt. By all accounts, it was boring by the fourth when GS coasted to victory.
My gueess... NO AD wants a big market, he wants to sell his brand. And I don't think he'll wait for Zion
the draft was rigged. NBA gifting NOP Zion and in return they will gift LeBron and the Lakers, the NBA's biggest draw, AD!
Is this a way for the league to make up for David Stern's veto of the Chris Paul trade to the Lakers (from the New Orleans Hornets) several years ago? LOL!
