Warriors need to close this out in Game 6, otherwise, those 3-1 jokes will be haunting them all over again come Game 7.

^What’s killing them is the arrogance of “star” players like Klay Thompson and Draymond Green. Green perhaps need to adjust that attitude he shows on court to winning close games. No amount of feather-cocking or cock-pimping can sway a determined crew. Green’s posturings don’t help the Warriors in any way. He’s essentially a thug who can’t shoot. He uses his mouth rather than his hands. He complains a lot. Good thing His partner in crime Boogie Cousins is out or this Dynamic Duo would be the end of GS. Thompson should just shoot the lights out rather than saying things like “we’ll breeze through this because LA isn’t stocked up for a long playoff run.”

Anyone caught Draymond’s sneer after Lou Will hit that dagger that iced the game? It was like he was saying “yah can’t win yah bitches.” Serves them right.

Now go to LA and f**king win that game ladies.

It’s a cause of worry. Their arrogance is what dealt them that championship defeat against the Cavs after a 3-1 lead. Green shouldn’t have been boasting then that they couldn’t lose against an “inferior” Cavs team.

Once again he does that. And so is Durant, who is more concerned now of his stock come trading after the Finals. Thompson is the proverbial hot-and-very cold shooter while Curry, despite his greatness, chooses to chew his mouthguard and do nothing on defense when they are down.

Warriors vs Rockets - This is the NBA Finals. Winner of this series will likely be champs.

The Warriors may have under estimated their opponent and thought they could breeze through the first round against the Clippers, a team that does not have any superstar or an All Star in their lineup. They thought that they'd win by default.

And the coaching staff is partly to be blamed for it. It should've been a sweep, but the Clippers managed to steal 2 games against the defending champs. Maybe Kerr used it as a litmus test for his team. I think Game 6 was the only game in the series wherein they actually had a game plan against the Clippers. What makes the Dubs great, more than their high octane scoring, is the high BBIQ of their players. The team plays unselfish basketball and the players know how to execute the plays on both ends of the court.

^Plus they have that playoff edge, which is what separates good teams from wannabes. But beyond Durant, Curry, Thompson and Green, and maybe Iguodala or Bogut, the Dubs are severely limited by their playing (not scoring) options and in a long series, that might hinder them a lot.

Having said that, I actually predict them to move past Houston in 7 games. Tops.

Terrible comparison. The only thing Kyrie has on Rajon is a better coach. 2008 Ubuntu Celtics will mop the floor with the current roster, no matter how much they achieve.

warriors - rockets now at 2-2.... just waiting for the next CP3 season ending injury or the next Harden playoff disappearing act... Of course, this could also mean the end of an era for the Dubs... Game 5 is must see NBA TV....

Looks like the Bucks is well on its way to the next round, on the back of the Greek freight train called Giannis! A 3-1 series lead is almost a foregone conclusion, even if the Celtics win one more.

Sorry to see Boston fall short this time around.

    Fear the Deer!

I have the feeling that Rockets and Bucks will meet in the NBA Finals. MVP vs MVP.

Game 5 is a must Win for GS..

GSW => excellent road team vs Rockets => very very solid home team..

GS mantra = "strength in numbers" ..... while

HOU = known believers of metrics / data crunching o_O

Not a fan of both teams... But I think it would be fun to see a Houston - Toronto finals...

The Beard and the Klaw (Hand) are both doing everything for their teams...

CP3 and Lowry suddenly looks old...

There's actually real talk that the Celtics were demoralized over the impending departure of Kyrie Irving for a far more lucrative contract (maybe New York after all)...Jalen Brown previously expressed his opinion on this, and then Marcus Smart also sounded disappointed. Apparently, that talk has gelled into the Celtics locker room and has caused discord. Al Horford actually called out the team after their last loss to at least make some fire and put the game back for Boston. And where was Kyrie all this time? Listening to rap music in his locker, oblivious of the tension around.

Now that they're out of it, Kyrie can move on to better offers (let's go Knicks) which is a dumb and selfish move to most Celtics fans who had accepted the All-Star guard as one of their own. Seems to be the fairy tale is now over.

Their Big 3 of Kyrie + Horford + Hayward just didn't pan out, they're not that much of a Big 3, even if their supporting cast is a solid nucleus. Funny though that without Kyrie last year, they had more success than with him on the team. He probably wants to have a Bigger 3 compared to what he currently has in Boston. Let's see what Ainge does with his picks.

That was the argument to be made -- that last year's Celtics were strong enough to make it to the East finals and got within 1 game from getting to the NBA Finals, so with two All
Stars back in harness this year will turn them into solid favorites. But it didn't happen.

Yes, it was obvious that the C's lacked the heart to compete, but I think it is time for me to give credit to the Bucks.

Let's not forget that the Celtics needed 7 games to eliminate the inexperienced Bucks in the first round last year. I thought that the Bucks would've breezed past the 76ers in the 2nd round, and could've given Lebron and the Cavs a tough fight in the conference finals, had they been able to get over that hump. Theoretically, they were that close to getting to the finals.

So, I thought it was premature to fire JKidd based on the mediocre regular season record and the first round exit of the Bucks. Like I said, they were so close on getting to the finals despite their shambly roster. I guess the impatient Bucks fans got sick and tired of hearing him say, "this is a young team that is still learning how to win", every time they lost a game... even though he was right. I would assume that he was implying that Giannis still lacked the savvy and maturity as the leader of the young Bucks. Fans were also saying that JKidd impeded Giannis' development because he didn't want the Greek Freak to shoot 3's. But Kidd was right. With his length and athleticism, he doesn't really need to shoot beyond the arc.

Being a JKidd fan, I would've wanted to see how far he could take this much improved Bucks roster. But if the Bucks do end up fighting for the championship this time, then I would say that it was a wise decision to hire Mike Budenholzer as Kidd's replacement.

The Bucks are playing like the team with the best win-loss record for this season.

    Finally...
It seems that the Bucks has finally learned how to win games.
