Is the battery drained to a certain percentage that would allow the magsafe to charge? Macbook's battery are not charging unless the battery falls less than 95%.

try another charger or have your own charger test another unit. Just to rule out if the problem is within the Mbp or the magsafe itself.

Remove the plug from your mac and stay the other end (plug). Check if light stays. If it is, maybe your magsafe is grounded.

Hi MicBurZ, have you resolved your issue? I encountered the same problem recently, magsafe light stays at green and noticed that the battery charging percentage is at 54%, it shows the status "Not Charging" and the condition says "Replace Now". However, when I checked the cycle count, mine is at 157 only and reading from similar thread in the forum tells me that my battery is still pretty much in good condition. Can you share what the status of your battery now?

    Thanks in advance!
