Neat, I love watches. Maybe I will give the nano a try. The only thing holding me back is having to recharge it every so often. Also, I won't be using it as a nano very much if I want to use it as a watch to conserve battery.
just got an 8gb Blue iPod Nano for my daughter and the Hex slim strap where are you getting your Nano? Charlie gave me a deal that was very hard to refuse you might want to email him
I saw 2 different variants of this when I went to Digital Hub. One is the Metal version and the other is the leather version. But upon closer inspection, the leather version's plate seems to be plastic. Even the store attendant noticed and said that it's plastic. Can someone validate this? The leather version looks nice but I got the Metal version thinking the other had a plastic base.
I have yet to check on those plastic clasps. I know this is off topic but I wonder when they will make iPad wall clocks...just a thought ^_^
I bought the leather one as well (white strap) it does look like plastic because it's dull gray but the box says stainless steel plate I gave it a hard knock and it feels metal hehe
@natstuff, The reason I said it was plasticky was because the saleslady "flicked" (pinitik) at it and told me it was plastic. The finish for the leather strap and the Hex Metal is slightly different. If someone could've confirmed that it was also metal I would've chosen to get the leather one since I plan to change the straps anyway. What I like is the frame.
2 months ago, I was on the brink of buying a nano to use as a watch but didnt like much the straps available. Ditoy_eagle (the living legend when it comes to watches - frequently seeing his posts @ pwc & pdvd) has finally convinced me to buy one very soon.... very bad influence.
Cool straps! Questions though where did you get the straps? I like the leather one best. How much on the avearage do they cost? And how do you change the strap? Is it easy? Thanks!
I just love the Mickey mouse watch face thanks for sharing your hex watch strap ditoy, you influenced me to buy one too
