    Hi, any recommendations for newbies like me as for what kind/brand of bike to buy and start up gears? And where to buy? Thanks in advance!

    It depends on your budget, you can check the bicycle stores in Quiapo just across Raon or Cartimar. Starting with Deore groupset is not bad (last time i checked Deore GS ranges from 13-14K). BTW, are you planning to buy a built bike or assembled?

    If you're still looking for the Yakima bike racks - They have a coupe of stores that I've visited. One in La Fuerza 2 compound in Pasong Tamo, and the other one in Greenhills.

    Also, for the MTB enthusiasts out there.. would anyone know where I can find Starter tool sets for home use? I was hoping to get the Park Tools Home Mechanic starter kit, but unfortunately cannot find a local bike shop that sells one :(
