I've recently taken up mountain biking. Although I've been out on the trail for a total of 3x so far, and I must say, I'm loving the sport.

Who else here is into mountain biking? Maybe we can ride together one of these days, preferably on a weekend.

    Let's hit the trails!

i do that once in a while at my village in quezon city where there a lot of hills and trails (mostly made by people who want to just make a shortcut from the road to their houses)...also, there are no dogs lapping at your feet (after a village ordinance prohibited them roaming around), but sometimes, it sucks when cars just zoom past you with the intention of ripping you off your rhythm and glide...

also, i don't wear those "fashionable" shirts and shorts when riding...i use cargo shorts, a helmet that formerly sat on my son's head when he skateboarded, and loose tees, no pads and no frills...even my bike is a simple projumper look-alike...

i also remember the last time i rode was february this year...looooong time ago huh?

Elbert, try pm'ing Miles Young. In our company he's the resident ironman and have a full year sched of biking competition, triathlon. He also knows all best MTB trails and saved it in his N-E51. His regular bike alone makes me drool, pero the one that'll blow me away is his current work in progress. Grabe, maiiyak wallet ko nun.

I wouldn't recommend the wall or shotgun to new mountainbikers. That'll turn them off right away. Let them enjoy the trails of Maarat first. A good place to start would be Inside Timberland's gate with wall2 as a warm up. That way, they'll get to enjoy more offroading. We can do Nursery and Roxas trails. But Wednesday pa ako puwede.

Hi Elbert! I bike, too! Usually it's Maarat, La Mesa, Licao-Licao or the Fort trails. Hehehehe!
