I'm not sure if there's already a similar thread but I really couldn't find it when I did a search. Anyway, here's the scenario: I have a user account set up on a Mac. On this particular user account, I set up Mail to retrieve from several email accounts. Now, I want to create another user account on the same Mac and at the same time move one or two of the mail boxes that I have already set up in Mail. Is this possible?
Check out Apple's How to back up and restore your important Mac OS X 10.4 files knowledge base article. It has a section dealing with Mail files. I don't know about backing up, then restoring only certain Mail accounts. What you can probably do is restore all the Mail accounts in your new user account then just delete the unwanted accounts from within Mail.
