actually I found SUN is now more smart than sun, even their bal inq and menu access and share a load is smart keywords already, sun keywords not working anymore, and on gigalife app its said Smart not SUN
Sun Postpaid nalang ang may different identity, Sun Prepaid and Smart Prepaid same na daw as per Smart CS.
This thread is very informative. I am a Globe prepaid user for a long time and am not happy with their service anymore. If this promo I am on under GCash only is stopped I am porting to Smart.

After your telco allows for the porting of mobile # will the USC code be sent as a SMS to the mobile # being ported?
Smart wants me to go to their center to get my usc. Im just on prepaid. With the current covid situation the should just let me have my usc via sms or email
Blame SIM swap scam. Telcos want to create as much friction as possible to prevent you from getting USC code. I know one girlie that's approaching 3 months wait for their fully settled & out of contract Infinity account. Sub wanted out even when she was being offered iPhone 13 Pro Max 128GB on Plan 2500 50GB and no 1 time fee.
Observation from porting. Telco will foot drag and look for every excuse to cause as much friction to discourage decades old accounts generating more than 3.5k worth of revenue. Accounts that make less than 1k of revenue are easily let go. I'm anti-Duterte and I hate the drug war but when you ignore that, his stance on China and COVID response he did a good thing with MNP, Dito and changing the satus of Public Utilities to Public Services. I look forward to the day that 5.00/GB is the norm for postpaid from 50.00/GB.

ONLY in the philippines, ALL our telcos are doing their best to evade the Law and our government agencies are deft and mute allowing them to, MNP is getting worse and worse than getting easier, Tried to port out my GOMO sim and I was told its not available and no definite time that it will be back giving my USC, port in also not available, they think they are above the law, looks like both GOMO and Globe stop abidng the law, how about the other 2 telcos?
I emailed ntc regarding my porting problem and earlier today i got 2 calls from globe and they are now processing my porting request. Prepaid to postpaid
