I went over some of the other Mobile Me threads just to be sure this topic wasn't raised. Anyway, I seem to be having a problem with one of the functionalities of Mobile Me when I log in through Safari to check mail. This only happens when I log in through a browser. When I have a message from a new contact and want to add the contact to my address book or contact list on Mobile Me which theoretically will sync with everything else, I click on the name of the person who sent me the email message and out pops a screen that says "add" new contact? I click add but then when I check the contacts list, nothing happens. No new contact is added. Have any of you experienced this? Two of us with Mobile Me accounts tried this and both of us couldn't get the new contact added. Are we doing anything wrong or does this functionality of Mobile Me really not work?

It will sunc after a few weeks...at least that's what happened to me. This is why Apple has been very apologetic about MobileMe

alhuang1: When did you last sync your .mac/mobileme account (System Preferences)? What are your sync settings--manual or automatic?

My problem on my account is that Mac and Windows PC are smoothy synching yet my iPhone was the one left not synched. Please share your experiences in fixing Mobile Me issues. TIA.

In answer to some of the questions, I have my mobile me set on daily sync. So far, I don't have any problems with the sync. This means that if I add a new contact on my macbook air mail or address bok program, after a sync happens, it appears on my .mac or me account in the cloud and I am able to see this updated contact in any of my gadgets i.e. from my iphone to other macs where I have set up my accounts. However, what I'm referring to is a situation when I access Mobile me remotely through a web browser and where I check my email. If I get a message from a new contact which I want to save, the save contact which should work with one click of the sender's email address and then click add does not result in anything happening. What I mean is after i click add, I check my address book off the web browser i.e. my mobile me cloud address book and there is nothing there.

Try checking your mail from your iPhone and add the contact in your iPhone. For some reason, I noticed that changes made from the iPhone gets pushed to the "cloud" much faster than changes made from computers or from the web browser itself.
