^This was what they should've done before, the matte black finish being the most sought after color scheme...and of course, that fast speed is the difference...

That's why I ordered one from the MS Store already...;)

This could replace my 13" MBP and iPad. If only it can run Mac OS... ;)

Mm...imo, it is a refinement of last year’s Surface Pro 2017 (glad MSFT went back to the original numbering scheme - Surface pro 2,3,4 etc.). With the type cover, the price is closer to the thousand dollar mark.

What I really want is a larger Surface Pro. 12.3” is fine. With the Surface Go screen size at 10.6” to cover the small size factor (for obvious ultra portability), a larger screen is needed and that screen size is 15”. The iPad Pro has 12.9”. Surface Pro line has to cover that obvious gap.

Why? To make the Surface Pro even more competitive to laptops. It already has most of the elements to truly become a laptop replacement - long battery life (over 13 hours), storage (up to 1 TB)and CPU speed/power (not the M(obile) version of latest-gen Intel).
