^Keep us updated if it's better than Office 2011 for Mac... I'm holding off on this even if we have an Office 365 account, I'm thinking I'd be better off waiting for the stand alone version to be released in September.

Installed Outlook for Mac 2016 last Friday and it's buggy. I set it up to check my four email accounts every five minutes. It works fine at first, then it hangs after checking them for the second or third time. I'm forced to do a forced restart at least twice every hour.

Correct me if I'm wrong, but isn't Office 2016 for Mac already officially released? Does anyone have experience using the final version? I've read the previous posts and from the web that the preview version is indeed buggy.

I'm planning to get Office for Mac as soon as I get my very first Mac so I can immediately get work done on it

Been using Office 2016 for a couple of days now and it looks and feels better than the 2011 version. Probably one reason is because I got used to the ribbon UI in my windows machine. Can't really say anything performance wise as compared to the earlier version but I haven't experienced any hiccup yet and so far all my files open and save without a hitch. I didn't try Outlook and OneNote since I have different apps for email and notes.

Been using office 2016 for Mac via Office 365 for a while its a bit buggy esp it asks for a license which obviously must be connected to my live account but just today they released a new update on all apps and seems fixed including outlook crehing all the time.

Hopefully this can somewhat solve the "slow" 2011 Mac Excel I've been experiencing.

had a problem exporting a Word file to pdf. Word kept crashing, so I opened the document using Pages, and Pages converted it to pdf perfectly. Aside from this issue, it's been smooth sailing so far with Office 2016.

Is that a full-version Mac 2016? Or it will expire as your 365 subscription expire too?

I have issue with this. It keeps on asking for activation. The school where I am working has allowed me to install this to 5 computers and 5 mobile devices.

For those using Office 2016 with El Capitan, how is it so far?

I've been reading articles about Office 2016 problems ever since users upgraded to El Capitan. In some cases, Office apps don't even launch anymore.
