I agree, when there was no Gerry's or Dencio's Grill yet before...those from Quezon City and nearby cities used to frequent Trellis in Kalayaan Ave. for their famous sisig!!

Also, you might want to try the original...Aling Lucing's sisig in Angeles Pampanga. The original is beside the "riles" in downtown Angeles.

I think they now have a branch somewhere in Metro Manila, but I forgot the location.

I find Aling Lucing's sisig a little bitter. Those are not their branch, the niece I've talked to said it was "name" franchise only.

I consider Mely's Sisig better, problem lang they open at 6pm. The closest to taste this is in Mangan restaurant, they have Mely's sisig in their menu.

If you're in the Makati area.. Try the pork and baby squid sisig (separate orders) of The Balcony along C. Palanca St. Ü

My favorite was the sisig from DLSU's "post-exam" go to place -> Kaibigan!
Crispy and tasty! It's just too bad that the next gen La Sallians won't be able to experience it anymore since I heard it's gone already.

+1 on Kaibigan/Garahe Sisig at DLSU way back:cool:

Today, my picks I guess would be Congo, Dencio, and Lecon Sisig @ Pier One way back... Aysee's is good as well though sometimes a bit inconsistent.

I was about to put Aysee as one of the best Sisig in town because of its popularity but personally, I don't like it. It's not the way the original Sisig was meant to be cooked. Sisig should be sort of dry. I hate it when they put mayonnaise in it.

Okay so I tried a few from what was suggested.

Bagnet 8065's sisig is great, really more like paksiw with chilis than sisig but it's delicious. However the absolute best sisig the way sisig's supposed to be is from Mangan. Tried both the Glorietta and Robinsons Ermita branches. Very, very good.

Aysee's for me, but only if paired with their papaitan :D

I'm also okay with Sisig Hooray's for a quick sisig fix.
