Command & Conquer fans have another game to spend sleepless nights with. Seven years since Red Alert 2, EA will be releasing Red Alert 3 during the latter part of 2008.

For the official website, click HERE.

There are 3 factions involved: The Allies, The Soviets, and the (new) Empire of the Rising Sun. (In case you've already forgotten, Yuri is stuck in the dinosaur age at the end of Yuri's Revenge.)

    Game Description (from the website):
As always, the game will feature somewhat outrageous yet cool weapons and units. So far, I don't see the giant killer squids but there's a unit called the War Bear... which is in fact, an actual bear. :p

Tanya fans will be happy to hear that RA3 will have Tanya again. However, not sure yet if Kari Wuhrer will be playing the part again.

Tanya's special weapons will include a chronobelt, which would enable her to travel back in time. Her Soviet counterpart will be a highly-skilled sniper while her Japanese counterpart will involve psychic and telekinetic powers. Let's put it this way: she doesn't walk; she levitates. and she tosses units like a Jedi Knight... all while dressed like a Japanese school girl. Go figure.

Hot-blooded gents might be happy to know that for the Allies, British bombshell Gemma Atkinson (yes, she of the lad mags) will be playing Lt. Eva McKenna. There are even 2 wallpapers of her that are available for download now, hehehe... For the Soviets, special unit Natasha will be played by MMA poster girl Gina Carano. Let's be honest, boys, these muses of Red Alert have always been part of the gaming experience. ;)

A 15-minute game play demo is now available for viewing and download. Click HERE.

So far, the game play and the graphics look phenomenal! If you think you're gonna need a new Mac just to play StarCraft 2, wait 'til you see the graphics involved in this game. The effects are awesome. The sea looks real!

HOWEVER, it pisses me off that there's NO MAC VERSION. I thought EA Games, in one of those Apple town meetings, promised closer collaboration with Apple in churning out games? Or did they just say that to get free iPhones? Buti pa ang Blizzard... I hope the Mac version will follow soon. Although I won't mind playing this using Boot Camp, I'm not sure how well it will perform given the seemingly demanding requirements.

For more details, screenshots, and data about the units and structures, go to the official website, which aptly states: Welcome back, comrade. :)

I just wish they come up with a Mac version eventually (and soon)! They did it with C&C Generals, Zero Hour, and C&C 3. I wish they won't make an exception with RA3.

I can't wait for this game to release! I've been an avid fan of the Command and Conquer series especially Red Alert! Just wondering will a MacBook (BootCamp) run the game smoothly?

ang pangit lang is by faction na.. soviet, ally, and empire of the rising sun..parang generals na rin lang..dapat nag stick sila dun sa countries(allied, soviet countries like before) then country specialty(tesla tank, aircraft carrier, etc).. mas realitics tapos mas madami strategy ang magagawa mo..

    hahayz...

    Re: Red Alert 3

just visited Datablitz Trinoma. Price for Red Alert 2,795 to more than 6,000 depending on the edition of the game (I like the premium package which comes with a nasty-looking microsoft gaming keyboard/pad and a backpack). Release is 28th of the month with pre-orders now.
