Contemporary life as learned through overseen text messages people send to each other while out on the streets.

Well, look what bananas do when you hang them. It's exciting, right?
If bananas go bad too quickly for you, try hanging the bananas from their stems in your pantry!
    Don’t laugh…

Proper way to hang bananas. Yes'm.

Essentially my most cherished cooking pot for the entire duration of the lockdown. Adobong baboy never tasted better after 3-5 days simmering.

if i may add my arroz caldo, spaghetti, pansit canton/bihon, and that delicious ginatang bilo-bilo, which lasted for months in the freezer. i now have to pick a smaller pot because the larger one obviously won me over through basic psychology for 10 years when I'm supposed to prepare food for myself, probably good for about 2-3 meals supposedly, but i always end up whipping for the whole barangay. even with the help of my non-relative flatmates, only 3 of us in the unit, could only consume a serving while I would patiently feed on the meal for a week or so. I must buy my WMF pot or things like that today by all means. Thank goodness for sales mushrooming everywhere. LOL

    An Adobo story....(true story)

My nephew is a US Army veteran. He got married to a Latina. When it was time for him to cook, he always cooked adobo for lunch or dinner. It doesn't matter what occasion, he always prepared adobo. His wife got sick and tired of adobo and asked him to cook something else, which he refused to do. This went on for a while and finally the wife snapped and they had a big fight over adobo. They eventually separated because of adobo(I'm not kidding). Several months later, they both came to their senses and decided to meet half way, so they were invited to my sister's house(my nephew's mom) for dinner to talk. During the start of the dinner the two were beginning to reconcile their differences, when my sister brought out the food on the table, it turned out she cooked adobo. Now, they are divorced.

Might be good to save this and file under "if you think you had a bad break up think again" if you are having challenging times with your better half.
