    mm...I ve read similar in FB. I dont see it that way. With diverging opinions regarding lifting or reimposition of quarantine measures, I see this situation as not a collective decision anymore but a matter of individual decision.

    With the govt easing ecq to mecq and allowing some industries to operate under challenging and restrictive environment, it is up to the individual to ultimately decide whether to remain in quarantine or to go back to work. It is a personal, health decision. If it eased into GCQ, the same still applies.

    Some people want to wait for a vaccine. This New York Times article, with interactive charts, provides a massive dose of reality check.

    Given that, it is obvious that we cannot wait for the vaccine(s). Even if the process of vaccination ,from research to distribution, is perfectly executed and hastened at light speed, it will be at least 18 months before we see vaccination as an option in making public health and economic policies. Given existing data, polocy makers must balance the two conflicting views. It is no longer either/or.
