The best news today...
Wow I didn’t know that. So our Araling Pangkasaysayan got it all wrong. How could we be so stupid! All these years, we never knew the Chinese also built Malacanan Palace, inhabited Calle Real in Vigan or named Mayon Volcano after its greatest emperor.
When life gives you lemons: Julian Lennon meets ‘Johnn Lemon’
Julian, the firstborn son of The Beatles’ John Lennon, is in Manila for a visit and he recently stumbled upon a familiar juice bar. Not because he’s tried it before, no sir. But because its name is very familiar.
In an Instagram post on Saturday, the singer-songwriter and environmentalist posted a photo of a juice stand with the name “Johnn Lemon.” Yes, with a double “n.”
Julian casually took a side-selfie at the location while a customer ordered something from the stall.
The “Because” singer only mustered the strength to wonder about the juice stand with his Instagram caption: “Hmmm…”
Sean Ono Lennon, Julian’s half-brother, commented on the post and said: “So that’s where we’re from!”
Julian replied in jest: “I’ve been meaning to tell you, just hasn’t been the right time…”
Ah, brotherly love. Julian is the son of the late Cynthia Lennon (John’s first wife), while Sean is the son of artist Yoko Ono (John’s second wife).
Welcome to Minneapolis, home of the “Libility” Disclaimer
The headline on the signs, stacked together in downtown Minneapolis, reads: “Libility Disclaimer” when they should refer to a “Liability Disclaimer.”
In finer print, the signs inform visitors that by entering the street party, they’re waiving all potential liability claims for anything that occurs at the party and consenting to be recorded and photographed and have no claim on those images. Further down in smaller print, the sign refers to the “NCCA.” That would be the NCAA (National Collegiate Athletic Association). Now Reddit is having its way with the errors with commentary that ranges from mocking to armchair legal advice.
One commenter wrote: “ ‘LIABILITY’ for an ‘NCAA’ event. Two of the main things this sign is highlighting and they are wrong.”
You’re the Boss.
Last na ‘to kasi kanina pa kami tawa ng tawa dito...

Except for Superwoman who was hot, these two clowns were obese under the suit. Kinda like destroying childhood dreams if you take a picture with them.
