My built-in webcam for my MBP is acting weird. When I open the photo booth app, the green light turns on but the photo booth app do not show any image at all. The same goes when I use the web cam option in YM.

Can anyone suggest a good shop for repair that can repair it fast? I'm reluctant to deposit my MBP because I don't have any spare laptop, and i need my laptop for school.

You can try to reset PRAM first before going to a repair shop.

    Resetting PRAM and NVRAM
    Shut down the computer.
Locate the following keys on the keyboard: Command, Option, P, and R. You will need to hold these keys down simultaneously in step 4.
    Turn on the computer.
Press and hold the Command-Option-P-R keys. You must press this key combination before the gray screen appears.
Hold the keys down until the computer restarts and you hear the startup sound for the second time.
    Release the keys.

    Hope this helps...
