mail 2.1.1 to mail 3.5

    hello peeps. i'm using mac osx 10.4.10, i know it's jurassic but i'm just not a fan of upgrading not unless i need to.

    the mail version i am using is 2.1.1. i need to upgrade to mail 3.5. my question is, is this possible without upgrading mac osx? if so, how?
