    I still have mine.

But I don't really use it anymore once my laptop goes out of the box. In the beginning, yes, I put it back. But after regular use of the laptop, the plastic cover practically fades into oblivion.

Just curious, will there be an advantage if I replace it everytime I'm done using the magsafe?

You mean the plastic cover it went with the box? I still have mine but I'm not using it.

i pouch my charger along with the screen wiper cloth thing.
u know, those striped PSP pouches with that awesome soft cloth lining inside with pockets! (same for my iphone paraphernalia - charger / earphones / stand etc.)

so my protective plastic is still with me. thanks greenhills!

hopefully others will do the same so they won't lose the plastic covering huhuhu.

Is this the small plastic thingy that you put at the end of the cable? The small rectangular one?

I still have mine but don't really bother putting it back on. I guess that will put a premium when I sell my Mac eh? :p

Hey guys! If there's anyone who could provide this part, with a reasonable price, do let me know. I'm very much interested to replace the one I lost.
    Thanks!

That protective cover was placed there as a means of protection during shipping, that's all. It is not intended for the user to keep it and use it. It is not a big deal to lose it. I have been a Mac user for a very very long time now and never have I kept those plastic covers for any of Apple's cables (Power Adapter, MagSafe, FireWire, iPod USB, etc).

To reiterate elbert's sentiment. I don't use mine. It's in the box my MacBook shipped in, along with the remote that I also don't use.
