If I ever get an iPhone 12. I’ll definitely get a magsafe charger and a magsafe car mount charger. Might as well prepare myself for the inevitable portless iPhones. Hahaha

Mm....for me, the best use case for Magsafe is not the wallet. Agaw modus and there goes your expensive iPhone and credit cards, driver’s license, atm, PRC, SSS etc.

It is a modestly sized wireless battery bank that magnets into place and recharge while using the phone. Add pass through charging ( when plugged, iPhone is recharged first and the battery bank second) and I l be very happy. No makers yet.

I have a Scosche magnetic car mount; will I still be able to safely use it with Magsafe?

mmm...my guess is it won’t since the phone side metal is mounted on the iPhone’s back or case with an adhesive. Non-magnetized side on phone side. Also, it simplifies magnetic mounts such as Scosche. My guess is you will no longer have to use the metal. The magnet on the Magsafe case can be attached to the Scocshe car mount. That is my best guess.

Also, it would be embarrassing to Apple if they made this MagSafe only to be destroyed when you attach it to any magnet that is not MagSafe compatible. That us a class-action lawsuit waiting to happen. So, it is probably 99.99% safe.

I'm confused (looking at MagSafe accessories from the Apple store)

Does the "12" come with the built in magnets?

Or do you need to buy a MagSafe case to use a MagSafe charger?

    ***
    after a few digging...

    The 12 has built-in magnets :)

I pray they do not remove Lightning or USB-C until next year for the iPhone 13 and the next iPad I get.

I’m still not sure how they’d make it practical to drop the port and still allow seamless and real time debugging for iPhone developers. I think that’s the only reason left the ports are still there. Wireless debugging is still clunky - and not as fast but it’s getting there.

A hidden port similar to that of the Apple Watch.

Mm....I hope the Moment Magsafe are really safe to hold fast on to our expensive iPhones. It has to have really strong magnets to make sure accidental detachment is next to impossible. The Belkin ones are not that strong from the video reviews I ve seen.

Love the color of the Moments fake MagSafe. Lol!

And the fake ones to truly avoid (baka sumabog iPhone nyo).

Where is the magsafe battery pack? I’ll be disappointed if Apple don’t release one. Hahaha
