Yup it's possible. For my MacBook, I upgraded to 3GB (2GB+1GB) courtesy of Ynzal. I got the additional 2GB RAM module for Php 2499. It was discounted due to the Inventory Sale (and that I'm part of their mailing list :p). Perhaps the MBP's RAM module price is just around that, or a bit higher.

mcblack: isnt it better to buy from the official macstore like the one in rockwell, greenbelt etc. and also, they will be the one to assemble it, you just have to pay. :)

rattrapante: so how much did it cost you to upgrade urs to 4gig? coz im planning to upgrade mine (1gig) to 4gig as well :)

nah just get some ddr 667 transends or kingstons. you can get em for like under 1400p for 2gb each easy. depending on your model it may only support 3gb or 4gb i think

PC House near Gilmore is selling 2GB Kingston SODIMM DDR2 667 memory at Php1280 each, that would be Php2560 for 2 pcs.

PC Options Gilmore may even be cheaper... :)

Here's what I upgraded to. Although I bought the Kingston's 4GB KTV series, I immediately just decided to get myself the HyperX series to try it out in my MBP. I haven't installed it yet, will post benchmarks soon.
