hahaha there's already for the 14" MBP, di lang nasama sa screenshot haha i have also been looking for sleeves in local retailers, unfortunately, they'll only sell them next year. best way for now is online. i haven't used shells/cases for my MBPs, as i prefer using them naked. as for the sleeve, i got a cheapo tomtoc sleeve from Amazon US:
I got this targus sleeve from shopee. I still have my acme made sleeve for my 13 inch air but it doesn't zip all around so sometimes I worry I will drop it. Its fits my 14inch mbp just fine.
I had my SECOND random reset a while ago (first time was December 15 as I related in the quoted post below). Just finished placing an online food order (Safari). Nothing special/complicated running (few other windows/tabs in Safari, Chrome for GMail, Firefox for general browsing -- no YouTube windows anywhere, Calendar, Calculator, Viber, TextEdit, System Preferences -- that's it). After placing the order, I put the laptop to sleep. Returned to the area after about 30 seconds and saw that the Apple logo was on the screen -- restarting. Oh well. Happy New Year!
how long does it take for the applecare to reflect on this new macbook? i purchased applecare but it says still in progress. _Your registration is in progress. Until registration is complete, your product is covered for eligible hardware repairs and service under Apple’s Limited Warranty._ im able to see my mbp in my devices... or just have to wait?
Mine took effect as soon as I purchased it, maybe because its the holidays? I'm not sure but give it 24 hours then after you can contact support for further info.
It takes a while to update, maybe a day or so. Your coverage starts at time of purchase and you should have received documentation to that effect.
i received the receipt and email and yeah just the status saying in progress... haha i'll wait then thank you guys!
No, they don’t. Note, though, that their Education Store will only allow you to purchase the following quantities of products per year: Desktop: One (1) per year Mac mini: One (1) per year Notebook: One (1) per year iPad: Two (2) per year Accessories: Two (2) accessories with Education Pricing may be purchased per year
Easiest would be online https://www.apple.com/ph-k12/store But from what I remember authorized retailers can offer it as well
To those using the MBP 14/16's built-in HDMI port, are you also experiencing intermittent flickering/screen blackouts? That's my only niggle about my MBP 14 so far; whether I'm watching a video, surfing the web or working on MS Office apps, the screen would either black out for 1-2 seconds or there would be some sort of grey static appearing on the external monitor. But when I plug the same HDMI cable to a USB-C dongle I am using (CableCreation) the problem completely disappears. Is this a hardware or software issue? TIA!
The waiting is not that long, in our case. We ordered through apple education pricing Nov 26 and got it Dec16, in time for CHRISTmas gift giving.
Yes. AppleCare, when bought together with a 13" MacBook Pro in the Education Store costs ₱11,330.00, while the regular price is ₱12,590. Not sure though if the Education Store will allow you to purchase AppleCare separately at that price.
how do you know if mac is charging or getting charged at faster speed besides observing battery indicator? i just noticed now
Anyone experiencing difficulties updating to MacOS Monterey 12.1 from 12.0.1 with your MBP 14"/16"? I had to do a clean install using a USB drive to brute-force update my MBP 14" as it just won't update via Software Update.
I think mine came with the 12.1 or if it didn't I haven't had any issues updating the OS or any other apps so far.
