According to Engadget, the 15-inch MBP received the Anti-Glare option, just like the 17-inch series has since their update. Good news in my opinion. Bad news, it is a US$50 BTO option. Not yet available in the PH Apple Online store, but already in the international one. I guess it is just a matter of time, until we see the addition. Finally, although my gadget lust for a new mbp has waned. It's still a good sign since it looks like Apple is listening to it's customers.
I like the classy old MBP look! The price was a good call so that people will really think if they need a matte display, bit steep though considering it was a free option before.
I honestly like the glassy option and would keep it even with the choice because I personally use my MBP only indoors and it works and not to mention that the glassy screen is SEXY....hehe!
Wow that's great news. I guess they are getting so much flak from graphic pros that they had to listen. It does not matter if one prefers glossy or matte, this just means Apple is offering more options which is always good for us. This kind of reminds me for Firewire. When Apple took it away, everybody said it was never coming back then the 13 MBP came.
Black bezel is (I think) looks great on glossy screens. I prefer the aluminum on matte screens. But I'm not having any problem with my glossy mbp. It's sexier.
I agree! I take my MBP with me to school a lot, and it's natural light everywhere. No problems with the screen for me. And yeah +1 on the colors comment, as I work with Adobe programs heavily and take photos.
oh man! finally! matte for the 15-inch mirrorbook pro...10 months too late for me! sob! apple, while you're at it, please give us back the express card slot too!
The matte option was one thing that I was waiting for but the glossy just looks too sexy. Now I'm on the fence again...
