mac software for HDtv?

    is there a software for mac that we can use our pbook to play HD movies in HDtv sets?

    As long as your HDTV can connect to your Mac via DVI and your Mac has the horsepower to play HDTV videos, then you can play them using full-screen modes of either Quicktime Player Pro (the non-Pro version won't play fullscreen) for H.264 or VLC for other formats. The HDTV will just act as an external display.
