Has anyone been experiencing the Mail app rejecting .Mac passwords lately?

I've been experiencing this for the past 2 days already and it is really annoying. I have not changed any settings in the Mail app and when I go to www.mac.com in Safari and enter my password, it works just fine.

yup, happened to me twice in 2 days. random, but annoying just the same.

hasn't happened today or yesterday for that matter so maybe its just the .mac server saying you have to renew your account.:p

I've been having the same problem, too. I'm also experiencing internet problems. Can't connect to certain sites like Yahoo and Apple. Says I'm not connected to the internet. But I can access PhilMUG. I can also access my iChat but not dotmac. This morning, I couldn't join an Airborne Access network. What's going on?

Airjunkie - Oh okay, glad I'm not alone. Maybe it was the .Mac server. Haha.

Theus - I guess your account on the server is not affected?

Anaklupa - I think it's mainly your internet that has a problem... As for me, it's only the password being rejected...

this happens to me now and then, and goes away. it's an intermittent annoyance. but as they say, maybe it's not a defect, but a feature :)

I have the same problem. However, I notice that it happens frequently when I'm using a PLDT DSL connection. At home, where I'm using Eastern DSL, it happens only occasionally.
