When i load some applications, i get this: Classic cannot find a Mac OS 9 system folder on the startup disk to use. It further says to install Mac OS 9.1 or later (Classic Support). My PB is running on Mac OS X v 10.4.7 Does this mean i have to reinstall Mac OS 9.1? Question: Is this possible or feasible? Wanted to try out wormscanner but it needs Mac OS 9. Is there wormscanner for Mac 10.4.7?
just the other day installed Mac OS 9 on my mac mini G4 running OS X v10.4.7. Dragged two folders from my clamshell ibook into my mini, the system folder and Applications (Mac OS 9) folder. Opened up an old claassic app and found out my mac mini requires OS 9.2. So, I deleted the two folders, and went to the backup of my long gone lapzilla (G4 Powerbook 17-inch) which thankfully had the correct Classic System Folder and Applications (Mac OS 9). Dragged these two folders into my mac mini and my old classic apps ran without a hitch.
