    hi there! [IMG]

is it possible to fax a scanned copy, in jpg format perhaps, directly to a fax machine? do you know of a mac software w/c can do it?

i need to update my macbook purchase date on apple's website & the way to do it is via fax. no mention of an email option. [IMG]

tnx in advance for any help/advise.

File>Print>"Choose FAX modem" as your Printer

my sister had tried sending a fax to the US using this

    http://faxzero.com/

it's for free, just do it in pdf.

you can convert/combine the jpg copy of the receipt along with the applecare fax cover into a pdf file using the Combine Files option of Adobe Acrobat Professional.

regarding the applecare, you need to wait at least 3-14 days for the support coverage to update.

You can choose to print as PDF instead of a printer from any app.

@tech.junkie: Intel Macs don't have fax modem hardware built in. You need to purchase the Apple USB modem separately if you want to fax from your Macbook.
