For those having problems downloading apps, Just log out of the App Store, restart your Mac, and you'll be good to go.

    Cheers

i like that the mac app store is different and separate from itunes store. this way, i can tie the mac app store to my philippine credit card, and leave my u.s. debit card / itunes gift cards for music, videos, tv shows, and everything that has geographic licensing constraints. for everyone else, this also means less reliance on heftily marked up itunes gift cards.

and say goodbye to gigantic plastic trash bags that apple singapore sends tiny software packages in! :)

When I log-in on either iTunes or Mac App Store, it keeps on telling me that the account has not been used with the iTunes/Mac App Store. Then it makes me review my account and then I need a credit card number to finish creating an account for iTunes/Mac App Store with the same Apple ID I use to log-in on FaceTime. :slanted:

They're too pricey because it is for Macs not iOS

Wait, but it is still possible to use the same itunes account for everything right? I still have some credits left in my US account and would want to use that in the mac app store.

But, after reading your approach to it, I guess I'll be using the same setup.

I would be updating my systems tomorrow in the office and I can hardly wait.

What apps have you bought? I'm thinking of getting Aperture 3, costs only $80.

Tried buying Angry Birds. Looks great on my MBA 11! :)

Yes. when you buy it for the second time, you'll be prompted that you've already bought...blah, blah...similar to iOS App Store.

Just installed 10.6.6 and took a look at the app store. It has tons of potential but the selections are still pretty thin at the moment - at least for the Philippine store.
