I was trying to buy a custom M1 MacBook Air at the Apple store, but I couldn't find the option for the Apple Care extended plan. Is this a normal thing? Anyone know anything about it?

Weird noh? I ordered the Mini also from Apple Store, and along the way I was given the option to add Apple Care (but I opted out, coz usually I'd get AppleCare later, 10th or 11th month after purchase).
