M1 MacBook Air at full speed! Thermal Pad MOD!

    Hi Philmug family! I just want to share this to you guys sa mga may M1 Macbook Air na gusto nyong ma max ang speed ng M1 Air laptop nyo. Yes you can! I did it, but don't remove anything just adding the thermal pad will make the Air running solid no throttle!

    Thanks for this! I just got an Air myself and how often do you experience problems with the cooling process?

    Love mods like these, especially when your the only one doing it...yet. I salute you! :) Keep up the good work. As soon as I gey my M1 I will definitely follow your lead. Anyway, good job! :)

    Hi! Sorry for the late reply...
    This is just an optimization of the cooling system of this M1 Air! I like not worrying about the internal temps when editing video and rendering... The Temp Max now is way way better than before and it is Stable.

    I was rendering an hour-long video and the heat wasn't lap-friendly anymore. It would run hotter with the mod, right?

    It can run at full speed for longer -- not necessarily hotter since the thermal mod is cooling the processor as it performs heavy tasks

    Yes you are right! The bottom case will get hot depends on what your doing.
    When doing this Mod you should only use the laptop resting on the table or better yet with a cooling pad.

    Yes agree! although the speed will fluctuates for a minute or two but eventually gives a stable performance in hours of usage when rendering or gaming.
