    reviving this thread instead of opening up a new one. was wondering if someone can lend or sell me OS lion so i can set up one of our old macs here.

    I have the original, factory-issued thumb drive for Mac OS 10.6 (Snow Leopard). Lion is 10.7. Let me know by PM if this will work for you.

    thanks sir Chito, looks like the app store can now download lion again, i just completed creating a boot disk.
