Hey guys, can anyone recommend a good *free* DV to MPEG converter?

I captured some miniDV footage using iMovie and they are now in *.DV format.

I was able to find a free DV player, so I can at least PLAY the DV footage using FAST.DV-Player.Setup.exe (500k only).. but if I wanted to EDIT the footage, I would need a converter.

(Unless Pinnacle Studio 9 can do this...)

    Any suggestions? :D

    THANKS!

Are you looking for a Mac or Windows app?

Anyway, a good DV to "practically anything else" encoder on the Mac side is ffmpegX. For editing, use iMovie or FCP.

On the Windows side, check out VideoHelp.com.
