Using Lion on my Imac now with all the gestures is it worth it to upgrade to a trackpad? I now use a magic mouse. =)

trackpad is easier/faster to use when surfing/browsing the net but u still need to keep ur mouse for games and photo editing purposes for better control.

Yes, well worth it. One of the most attractive features of Lion is the fact that multi-touch gestures rule! I set aside my Magic Mouse (I just keep it around for Call of Duty and other games - you know how it is playing with a trackpad) and use a Magic Trackpad with Lion. My only comment on it is how fast the batteries go - about a month (at least with me).

The magic trackpad seem to be the natural partner to Lion's multi touch gestures. I have a couple of high end mice and I'm not using them anymore in favor of my unibody's trackpad because of the neat gestures. :)

Like the other posters, trackpad for everyday use, mouse for gaming and editing purposes. So yes, it is worth upgrading. You won't be maximizing the Lion experience if you don't try the cool gestures :)

I love the trackpad for Snow Leopard, and even more now with Lion.

Since i've discovered the magic trackpad I'm not used to the mouse anymore. I use a trackpad both at work and at home. Now with Lion it's even more useful. I'm not a gamer so I can live without the mouse.

You may install Better Touch Tool to add more gestures to the stock configuration.

Pretty handy tool I don't miss the trackpad on the MBP as much.

just found out there is still no middle click on magic mouse, I thought it has built in middle click already on lion,
still have to depend on magic-pref for the middle click
