i just bought the new 15-inch macbook pro (my first mac) last week and downloaded LimeWire but the songs i downloaded wouldn't play.

what could be the problem? Apology if its a lame question, but I really wanna know if there 'really' is a problem or Im just not that familiar with mac.

    many thanks.
    :D

welcome to Philmug Rhinestone! you can try uninstalling it... afterwards, just like what mcmcmacky suggested, you could try downloading | installing Frostwire. mine works just fine! good luck senorita! ;)

Sometimes files downloaded form Limewire are just junk files. They're not what they seem to be. Try to ditch Limewire. If you can buy the real thing, or if you can't right now, get Transmission & use TPB as your locator.

FYI, she did not mention downloading any form of copyright material or of any similar type. file sharing per se IS NOT ILLEGAL
