LF: Program to rip streaming videos

    Any programs for the Mac that allows one to rip streaming videos from Quicktime, Real Player, and Windows Media Player?

    Thanks for any leads.

    Try VLC.
    1. File -> Open Network..
    2. Choose the right protocol and enter the address of the stream.
    3. Check Advanced output: and click on Settings...
    4. Check Play locally and File and enter the file name you want to save it to. I usually leave the encapsulation method to MPEG TS.
